What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Edit fundraising and advocacy emails, text messages, social posts, and more on a daily basis
Check copy for syntax, punctuation, grammar, spelling, typos, and adherence to AP Style guidelines
Conduct thorough fact-checking to ensure accuracy and reliability
Perform technical quality assurance on email tests and landing pages, including checking tracking and overall functionality
Ensure content aligns with internal and client-specific style while maintaining an authentic voice
What is Required (Qualifications)
Up to 3 years in an editing-adjacent position, including internships
Experience using a style guide (AP or otherwise)
Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining high-quality output
Passion for making a positive impact in the world
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Ability to parse policy
Experience with HTML, email functionality, and/or user experience
Familiarity with remote work environments using tools like Slack, Jira, and Google Workspace
Genuine interest in U.S. news and current affairs, especially politics
