Position Summary This position will be responsible for providing the highest level of customer/concierge service for tours and event planning in support of iEXCEL at the UNMC - Davis Global Center for internal and external guests and customers. Provides support for each area within iEXCEL working closely with iEXCEL Leadership and Marketing/Community Engagement team to support academic and community outreach activities, events and tours for the Davis Global Center.

Required Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent
Hospitality, Event Management or related field (will consider five years related education/experience)
3 years experience
Experience with coordination of programs including planning and executing events (will consider five years related education/experience)
Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Functions effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Exceptional communication skills and customer service skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines using high-level critical thinking and decision-making skills
Strong ability to participate within a highly efficient team
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Hospitality, Event Management or related field
Experience working within a university setting
Experience organizing and conceptualizing events with multiple components and a wide range of internal and external partners
HubSpot, Microsoft Products, Adobe Creative Suite applications, Customer Relationship Management software program
Strong ability to interact professionally with various levels of customers
Experience in customer service or other people-oriented fields desired
1-2 years experience or training in hospitality management
