Assistant Superintendent

Kwiniaska Golf Club is a semi-private golf course located just outside beautiful Burlington, VT. Under the current superintendent, the course has undergone dramatic changes in the last 7 years. We continue to adapt and evolve to the ever-changing challenges of the golf industry. This season we will continue improvements to the course. Projects include bunker renovation, tee construction and drainage and irrigation additions. The assistant will be exposed to all aspects of maintenance and be involved in the development of maintenance programs to improve conditions and develop an evolving department. This is an incredible learning opportunity for someone who thrives in challenging situations and wants to be part of the continued development of Kwiniaska Golf Club. The assistant will be highly involved in the daily management and training of the crew and learn from an experienced golf construction and grow-in superintendent. Candidates will be responsible for fertilizer and pesticide applications as well as equipment maintenance and operation and repair of a Rain Bird irrigation system. This is more than hand watering and spraying. You must be willing to get your hands dirty and lead by example.
