Prepare and coordinate analyses of monthly and quarterly loss reserves
Perform complex analyses of data with minimal oversight
Monitor developing trends in the market landscape
Develop and analyze new methodologies for commercial insurance loss reserving
Provide training to Actuarial Analysts
What is Required (Qualifications)
BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or a related area
At least 5 years of experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on commercial or personal lines insurance (Commercial Auto preferred)
Completion of 5 or more actuarial exams
Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages, such as SQL, R, and Python
Strong analytical and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with actuarial analysis specifically on Commercial Auto lines insurance
Effective computer software programming skills
Proven problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Basic knowledge of the actuarial industry
Ability to actively contribute to company culture through participation in employee resource groups or volunteering
