Commercial Lines Account Manager
Full-Time | Non-Exempt
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to support our Commercial Lines team by providing high-level client service, managing policy activity, and coordinating with producers and carriers. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Manage accounts, which can consist of processing renewal applications, endorsements, audits, and cancellations.
Remarket renewals
Analyze client needs, prepare quotes, review coverage options, and support producers.
Communicate directly with clients, carriers, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate handling of all service matters.
Invoice agency billed policies.
Maintain professional relationships and deliver a high level of client service.
Stay informed on industry trends, products, and coverage updates.
Qualifications
Active Property & Casualty Insurance license (required)
Strong organizational, communication, and customer-service skills
Ability to handle a high volume of tasks with accuracy and professionalism
Prior commercial insurance experience preferred

Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
Insurance experience: minimum of 2 years actively working in personal lines or commercial lines insurance preferred. Commercial lines experience will be prioritized.
Holds an active Property and Casualty Insurance License. Licensed for a minimum of 2 years preferred.
Knowledge of insurance products and usage.
Knowledge of insurance markets and reference to markets.
Knowledge of insurance rating and underwriting procedures.
Ability to carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables.
Field of vision must be adequate to observe up and down or right to left while eyes are fixed on a given point.
Strong written and verbal communication (including phone), organization, time management, and technical skills.
Self-motivated with initiative and thoughtfulness.
Ability to learn and proficiently use technology and programs relevant to the company.
Ability to multitask, resolve problems, and meet deadlines.
Multi-media telephone system
Commitment to ongoing professional development through industry-sponsored educational programs.
