Job Title: Head of Growth (0-to-1, B2C Subscription)
Location: New York City (Hybrid – 3 days/week)
The Opportunity
We are a mission-driven, post-launch consumer subscription startup on a journey to help children (ages 5-10) build essential life skills. Operating as a specialized venture within a prominent family foundation ecosystem, we combine the fast-paced agility of a startup with the stability and resources of an established philanthropic powerhouse.
The Role
As our first dedicated growth hire, you will report directly to the CEO and own the entire funnel—from awareness and acquisition to activation and long-term retention.
What You’ll Do:
- Build the Engine: Design and launch our core acquisition channels (Paid Social, Search, Content, and Organic loops).
- Rapid Experimentation: Run a high-velocity testing roadmap to optimize conversion rates and lower CAC.
- Product Partnership: Work closely with Product and Engineering to improve onboarding, early activation, and "sticky" features.
- Full-Funnel Ownership: Define our growth metrics, attribution models, and reporting dashboards.
- Scale with Support: Leverage shared services (Legal, Finance, HR) from our parent foundation while managing a nimble budget and external creative partners.
Who You Are:
- B2C Expert: 10+ years of experience, with a proven track record in consumer tech and subscription models.
- Early-Stage Veteran: You’ve been a "founding" marketer or an early growth lead and know how to navigate the "messy middle" of a startup.
- Data-Obsessed: You live in the data but understand that creative strategy is what actually moves the needle.
- Mission-Aligned: You are passionate about child development, EdTech, or neurodiversity and want to build a product that makes a tangible difference in families' lives.
