Filterbaby is a fast-growing beauty and wellness brand, creating high-performance water filters designed to elevate your skincare routine. Our faucet and shower filters remove impurities, ensuring cleaner water for healthier, glowing skin. Over the past years, we’ve generated multiple organic viral moments across Instagram and TikTok, proving the cultural and educational power of this category. We’re now looking to build repeatable systems that turn that momentum into a scalable social growth engine. We're seeking a Head of Social Growth + Creative.
With nationwide retail distribution (Target, Nordstrom, Erewhon) and a rapidly scaling DTC presence, we are building a category at the intersection of skincare, science, and culture.
We’re looking for a highly strategic, internet-native creative leader to own and scale our social growth engine.
The Role
This is not a traditional “social media manager” position.
You will own Filterbaby’s social growth strategy, from high-performing video concepts to engagement systems to visual identity, and work directly with the founders to build measurable audience growth and cultural relevance.
You are both a strategist and a creator. You deeply understand what performs online, why it performs, and how to replicate it. You’ve personally created (or led) viral content before and can break down exactly why it worked.
You will be responsible for building repeatable systems that drive follower growth, engagement velocity, and shareability across platforms.
You’ll partner closely with our Creator & Community Manager to identify high-impact collaborators and growth opportunities, but you will not manage the operational logistics of influencer partnerships.
What You’ll Own
- Develop and lead Filterbaby’s platform strategy across Instagram and TikTok
- Identify high-leverage content formats and scalable series
- Create repeatable viral frameworks and testing systems
- Build engagement loops that increase saves, shares, comments, and retention
- Continuously analyze performance data and refine creative direction
2.Video Concepting & Execution
- Generate high-performing video concepts rooted in culture, science, and beauty
- Film content yourself when needed (scrappy and fast when appropriate)
- Collaborate with in-house video editors to execute your vision
- Identify and brief creators to execute specific concepts for expanded reach
- Translate trends into Filterbaby-native narratives
3.Visual & Brand Aesthetic Ownership
- Curate and maintain a visually cohesive, elevated Instagram grid
- Collaborate closely with in-house graphic designers to execute creative direction
- Ensure all content aligns with brand tone: credible, aspirational, culturally relevant
- Identify when new assets are needed and help plan photoshoots
- Evolve our visual identity as we scale
- Partner with the Creator & Community Manager to identify high-impact influencer collaborations
- Lead high-level social growth initiatives tied to product launches and retail moments
- Help scale affiliate and community reach from a strategic standpoint
- Identify organic content that should be amplified to paid ads
Who You Are
- Deeply fluent in internet culture and algorithm behavior
- Have created or led high-performing video content with proven results
- Strong aesthetic sensibility, you care deeply about grid cohesion and visual storytelling
- Strategic thinker who understands both brand and performance
- Comfortable filming yourself and directing others
- Data-aware and KPI-driven, not just creatively inspired
- Extremely organized and able to move quickly
- Thrive in a fast-moving, founder-led environment
- Passionate about beauty, skincare, wellness, and culturally relevant brands
Qualifications
- 4+ years in social, creative, or brand growth roles
- Proven track record of driving audience growth and engagement
- Strong understanding of conversion psychology and social-to-revenue dynamics
- Beauty, skincare, or wellness experience preferred

Location
This role is based in Los Angeles. While the position will begin remotely, regular travel for shoots and creative sessions is required.
Filterbaby is in the process of building our LA creative hub, with plans to open a physical office later this year. This hire must be comfortable transitioning into a hybrid in-office structure once the office is launched.
