HR Director Leads the Human Resources Department for Uintah County by directing all functions of talent acquisition, classification, and benefits administration. Responsible for the development of county-wide personnel policies and the rigorous enforcement of legal compliance. Partners with department heads to implement training and incentive programs, resolves complex employee relations issues, and manages comprehensive personnel records. Analyzes workforce data to optimize retention and streamline administrative actions regarding pensions, insurance, and performance reviews.
Responsibilities
Develop county-wide personnel policies and enforce legal compliance.

Analyze workforce data to optimize retention and streamline administrative actions related to pensions, insurance, and performance reviews.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in HR, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum of five years of advancing professional experience in HR.
Well-versed in core pillars of human resources: talent acquisition, benefits program management, and electronic data systems.
Professional HRM certificate or PHR/SPHR designation is a significant plus.
Equivalent mix of education and experience is acceptable.
Compensation & Benefits
Full-time exempt position with a rate of $40.87 per hour, depending on experience.
