NCAA Guidelines

Job Duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include: 1. Creating and maintaining web banners for station promotions, specialty shows, and clients. 2. Assist the station in visualizing the creative content for WZIS 3. Work directly with the web content manager to accomplish goals and tasks as assigned. 4. Serve as a liaison between the web content manager and various WZIS departments. 5. Work directly with the Promotions Department to maintain a campus calendar of events 6. Create and maintain a WZIS digital library that would include uploaded audio, video, and news stories. 7. Work with the Music department to create a visual representation of a top 20 list and concert calendar. 8. Assist the Program director in uploading and maintain DJ blogs for the website. 9. Assist the News and Sports director with the uploading and maintaining news and sports stories. 10. Assist the Web Content Manager in making sure the web content is current and consistently updated. 11. Assist the Promotions Department in creating logos for events and signage. 12. Perform any task as designated by the Station manager, and the rest of the student staff at WZIS. The Multimedia Assistant director should expect to work 10 to 12 hours per week during the fall and spring academic terms. The schedule will be determined by work needs and in consultation with the Web Content Manager.
