Role Who you are

Experience: 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a proven ability to recruit top-tier Software Engineering talent as well as GTM leadership (Sales, SE, CS) within the enterprise software and/or SaaS industry

Startup DNA: Past experience and success building teams at a venture-backed enterprise SaaS company; you are comfortable working within the ambiguity of a small, growing startup

Sourcing Prowess: Strong track record in sourcing qualified candidates, market mapping, and navigating high-velocity recruiting in fast-paced environments

Communication: A passion for story-telling and a knack for explaining complex technical and business concepts in a clear, succinct, and concrete way

Execution-Oriented: Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands and aggressive hiring goals

Relationship Builder: A collaborative communicator who can build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates alike, with the ability to push back or influence change when needed

What the job involves

Our Recruiting team is at the heart of who we are and what we’re building as a company

As a Contract Recruiter, you’ll be an all rounder, working across both our GTM and EPD (Engineering, Product, and Design) organizations to find world-changing talent

It will be your responsibility to source, evaluate, and close outstanding candidates across a diverse range of technical and commercial roles

You will be maniacal about finding the best talent and bringing it to Instabase, thriving in an environment that is fast-paced and highly execution-focused

Full-Cycle Ownership: Manage the end-to-end recruiting process for software engineering, technical roles, and GTM functions (Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success), ensuring a smooth and bespoke candidate experience

Strategic Partnership: Partner with EPD and GTM leadership to develop a deep understanding of hiring needs, quickly assessing priorities and determining ideal candidate profiles

Pipeline Velocity: Independently build robust, high-quality candidate pipelines through various channels, including passive sourcing, networking, and referrals, with an emphasis on rapid sourcing

Inclusive Recruiting: Focus on inclusive recruiting practices and diverse sourcing strategies to ensure we are reaching the best talent in the market

Process Improvement: Help improve our recruiting process, documentation, tooling, and talent market intelligence to turn startup ambiguity into a well-defined machine

Closing & Influence: Identify candidate closing strategies and proactively coach candidates through the entire process, while influencing leadership decision-making

This is a contract role starting with a 6-month engagement and potential to extend
