SCHEDULE Training:
Week 1: Tuesday‑Friday 8:00am‑4:30pm
Week 2: Monday‑Thursday 8:00am‑4:30pm
*Training will be at different locations, including Greenwood and Avon Urgent care
Monday‑Friday 7:45am‑8:15pm (10/12 hour shifts) – Ability to travel between both Bloomington Urgent care centers
Saturday & Sunday 7:45am‑6:15pm
Holiday availability required.
WORK LOCATION Bloomington West/East Urgent Care
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Register patients and verify demographic information.
Provide support and assistance to patients in the waiting area.
Respond to patient inquiries via phone and email.
Determine appropriate resolution methods in alignment with patient needs and organizational guidelines.
Coordinate escalated issues with other departments as needed.
Collect patient personal and billing information for database entry and scheduling.
Will be working at both Bloomington Urgent care centers.
Serve as a subject matter expert in treasury and insurance operations, providing guidance and resolving complex inquiries.
Fulfill Team Lead responsibilities, including mentorship, coaching, and day‑to‑day leadership support.
Lead and support the CSR team, ensuring high performance and adherence to procedures.
Manage and oversee cash handling activities with accuracy and compliance.
Respond to bank audits and inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate, and well‑documented responses.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and initiative.
Ability to work independently within three months.
Knowledge of medical terminology and coding is preferred.
Ability to type at least 30 words per minute.
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to type at least 30 words per minute.
Working knowledge of computers, MS Office
Knowledge of medical terminology and medical coding required.
3-5 years of customer service experience required.
