Patient Services Representative III-Floater (PSR III)
represents the face of the company, providing patient-facing services for routine health needs and diagnostic testing. This role is responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens and preparing them for laboratory testing while following established procedures. The PSR III builds
trust and confidence
by explaining procedures and performing specimen collection safely and accurately. This floater role requires flexibility to travel and support multiple locations based on business needs. Key Responsibilities
Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor Maintain a safe and professional environment Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties Verify patient demographic information and ensure proper specimen labeling post-venipuncture Maintain required records and documentation Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public Required Experience
Three years of phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong customer service and communication skills Keyboard/data entry experience Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting Reliable transportation and ability to travel between multiple locations Nice-to-Have Experience
Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment Customer service experience in a retail or service environment Medical assistant or paramedic training Required Skills
Phlebotomy (venipuncture and specimen collection) Patient verification and specimen labeling Communication and customer service Preferred Skills
Pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy Laboratory specimen processing Organizational and multitasking skills Knowledge of medical procedures and compliance standards Additional Skills from Original Description
