Job Summary The Patient Services Representative III-Floater (PSR III) represents the face of the company, interacting directly with patients for routine health services and critical diagnostic needs. This role is responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens and preparing them for lab testing while following established procedures. The PSR III builds

trust and confidence

by explaining procedures and performing specimen collection safely and accurately, while maintaining confidentiality and supporting process excellence. This floater role requires flexibility to work across multiple locations based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor

Maintain a safe and professional environment

Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties

Verify patient demographic information and ensure proper specimen labeling post-venipuncture

Maintain required records and documentation

Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public

Required Experience

Three years of phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections

Ability to provide quality, error‑free work in a fast‑paced environment

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong customer service and communication skills

Keyboard/data entry experience

Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting

Reliable transportation and ability to travel between multiple locations

Nice-to-Have Experience

Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment

Customer service experience in a retail or service environment

Medical assistant or paramedic training

Required Skills

Phlebotomy (venipuncture and specimen collection)

Patient verification and specimen labeling

Communication and customer service

Preferred Skills

Pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy

Laboratory specimen processing

Organizational and multitasking skills

Knowledge of medical procedures and compliance standards

Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards

Experience covering multiple locations with minimal notice
