Shift Details: Variable shifts between 6:45am – 6:30pm MST
Job Summary The
Patient Services Representative III-Floater (PSR III)
serves as a key patient-facing professional responsible for blood collection and specimen handling across multiple locations. This role requires strong phlebotomy expertise, adaptability, and the ability to maintain high standards of patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing
Maintain a safe and professional environment
Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and confidence
Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing
Verify patient demographic information and specimen labeling accuracy
Maintain records and documentation
Promote a positive image to patients, clients, and the public
Perform daily activities accurately and on time under supervision
Travel between locations to provide coverage as needed
Required Experience
3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong performance in fast-paced, high-volume environments
Customer service experience
Keyboard/data entry experience
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if applicable)
Nice-to-Have Experience
Experience in a Patient Service Center environment (2+ years preferred)
Medical assistant or paramedic training
Phlebotomy certification
