
Associate Events and Marketing Manager

We are looking for a freelance Associate Events and Marketing Manager for a top media company at their NY offices! The Associate Events and Marketing Manager will support the Senior Event and Marketing Manager in delivering polished, on-brand marketing materials and executing exceptional member experiences for (event name). This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized, and creative individual with a passion for luxury brands and events.
Compensation Pay rate: $36-38/hr based on experience. Location: Onsite New York, New York.
Marketing Duties
Assist the Senior Manager, Events & Marketing with implementing marketing strategies to engage and grow the community.
Help maintain brand collateral and ensure consistency across all communications.
Support the development of creative assets and materials for invitations, newsletters, event collateral, and member-facing communications.
Support data collection and reporting to inform marketing strategy and member engagement.
Ideate partnership concepts and build, manage, and execute creative brand partnerships in collaboration with the Senior Events & Marketing Manager.
Event Production Duties
Assist in the planning and execution of events, experiences, and activations across global fashion weeks and cultural tentpoles.
Coordinate event logistics, including invitations/RSVPs, content management, staffing, catering requests, and signage.
Support vendor and contractor coordination, ensuring all aspects of production run smoothly and timelines are maintained.
Help manage budgets and track expenses for events.
Assist with booking talent and VIP guests, and ensure smooth guest experiences at events.
Compile post-event recaps and reports for the Senior Production and Marketing Manager.
Stay informed about industry trends, venues, and competitive experiences to support future programming development.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
2–4 years of experience in marketing, events, or luxury client environments preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, proactive and positive attitude, and composure in fast-paced, high-touch environments.
Proficient in Google Workspace, Keynote, Microsoft Office, and Adobe design software.
