We're looking for an entrepreneur, a storyteller, a salesperson, and an aspiring business leader who wants a career-defining role inside a fast-moving cannabis industry startup. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for driving lead generation across both of our flagship brands—Terpene Belt Farms and Duty Free Terpenes—opening doors to new customers and markets, generating outbound sales leads, managing inbound marketing leads, and securing new business meetings.

This is an entry-to-junior-level sales role designed to launch your career. You will work as part of the Nexus Sales Organization alongside senior sales mentors who will teach you the industry, the players, and the game. Responsibilities:

Drive outbound lead generation for both the Terpene Belt Farms and Duty Free Terpenes brands through daily prospecting efforts via email, phone, social media, events, and other creative channels

Help break into new markets—new geographies, customer types, and industries beyond cannabis—generating qualified leads for the Account Executive team

Conduct market research to uncover top prospects, build targeted contact lists, and identify challenges faced by the largest and most complex companies in a rapidly evolving industry

Manage and execute on a lead pipeline: qualify inbound and outbound leads to generate new customer sales cycles each week that align with performance goals and compensation plan

Salary $85000 - $90000 USD per year

Required Skills 1–3 years of professional sales experience

You love talking to people, and more importantly, listening to them—you are curious and always want to know “why”

Traits that can't be taught: you're genuine, have integrity, are competitive, and enjoy being around bright people

You're not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them—coachable, detail-oriented, and a self-starter

Experience with Sales CRM platforms: HubSpot (preferred), Salesforce, or similar

Experience with lead generation and sourcing tools: LinkedIn, Seamless, Calendly, , or similar

Cannabis industry knowledge is a plus but not required—curiosity and drive matter more
