Reporting to the CSO, the Director of Retail provides leadership and oversight to all Falcon branches, guiding retail banking strategy, staff development, and customer experience. This role ensures consistent execution of retail processes and procedures, delivers training across all locations, and serves as a key partner representing Retail strategy across the organization. The Director resolves complex deposits, and products, drives process improvement; and ensures full regulatory compliance, including KYC/AML. Responsibilities also include overseeing daily customer financial needs—such as transactions, account opening, and basic financial guidance—while supporting sales, cross‑selling, operational controls, customer complaint resolution, and relationship building with consumers and small businesses to drive growth and service excellence. Position Duties and Responsibilities

LMA (Lead Management Accountability). Develop strategies to achieve key financial metrics including deposit and investment balance growth, customer acquisition and retention, and expense management. Work strategically to deliver and drive results in alignment with the organization’s V/TO. Create and support strategic plans across Falcon retail branches and team to expand our impact and deepen our customer relationships. Develop, implement, and drive accountability and communication procedures across branches to improve efficiency, safety and compliance. Drive consistent customer experiences throughout all Falcon branches. Assist the retail team by growing deposits by selling deposit products and identifying training needs. Work in close alignment with Market President team to support overall branch financials and location performance across all assigned markets. Resolve complex and escalated client issues in an efficient fashion in accordance with our quality assurance standards. Ensure best practices in security management of all branch locations, of both the physical location and vendors. Ensure adequate coverage at the branch and continually monitor branch staffing metrics. Actively participate in relationship management and marketing programs. Work strategically with CSO and leadership team to identify new products and/or solutions to drive customer satisfaction. Work collaboratively with the Marketing team to ensure branch brand standards are consistent and compliant, but also to effectively drive referrals into the branch. Manage and coach retail supervisors to engage customers and address any escalations. Represent the Bank in various community, civic, and community reinvestment functions to further enhance the Bank’s image and develop additional business; assists the Bank in establishing and maintaining market position in the financing arena. Partner with Retail Supervisors to oversee the budget, daily operations, repairs and upkeep of branch facilities Remain current on advancements in banking products, services, and vendors by reading industry information, attending seminars and vendor meetings. Provides front line concerns and input regarding changes or recommendations prior to implementation. Identify procedural gaps and make improvements. Play a positive role in the development and growth of assigned department staff through excellent communication skills, along with strong delegation skills. Maintain and demonstrate proficiency with deposit related software applications. Work collaboratively with compliance and other departments as necessary to respond to retail audit request. Complete other duties as assigned. Required Skills

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures. Advanced knowledge of related state and federal lending and compliance regulations, and other Bank lending policies. Proven ability to develop marketing and business development skills with customers. Basic skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation, mainframe computer system; and word processing and spreadsheet software. Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, speak clearly to customers and employees. Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non‑standardized situations. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Current Minnesota driver’s license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage required to drive to various branches while performing assigned duties and responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or related area, required 5–7 years of proven experience leading branch teams or managing operational functions, required. 5–7 years of background in banking or a comparable regulated financial environment, required. Proven experience, knowledge and training in all banking activities and terminology. Pay Range: $125k-155k.

Starting pay is determined based on several factors, which can include the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic area. Falcon National Bank is an equal‑opportunity employer.
