Employee Owner Position Purpose We are seeking an experienced and dependable Commercial Trade Specialist- HVAC IV Technician. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality service, reliable installation, and preventive maintenance to our clients across LA/Orange/IE county. This role requires an individual with a valid California HVAC contractor’s license who can potentially serve as the RME for the company while providing field leadership and technical expertise.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Perform installation, service, and troubleshooting of commercial HVAC systems (rooftop units, chillers, split systems, and controls).
Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and within safety standards.
Supervise and train technicians, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory compliance.
Maintain accurate service records, reports, and work orders.
Ensure compliance with state and local building codes, environmental regulations, and company policies.
Potentially serve as the Responsible Managing Employee (RME) under California law, maintaining active licensing and ensuring proper oversight of HVAC work performed under the company’s license.
Collaborate with project managers and contractors to deliver high-quality installations on time and within budget.

Qualifications
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Valid California HVAC Contractor’s License (C-20).
Must meet state requirements to serve as a Responsible Managing Employee (RME).
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, service, and maintenance.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
EPA Universal Certification preferred.
Special Position Requirements
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and driving record in compliance with Company policy
Must have reliable transportation and tools
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. regularly.
Must be able to stand, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or high places for extended periods.
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Able to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Must have manual dexterity and good vision (corrected or uncorrected) to handle detailed technical tasks.
Capable of moving and setting up heavy equipment occasionally with assistance
Schedule
Monday-Friday from approx. 8:00am-4:30pm
This position requires long hours to meet business needs, including being available for emergency needs
