Position Overview We are a New York City–based wholesale housewares company seeking a
resourceful, results-driven Sales Leader
to drive growth, expand key retail relationships, and manage the full product sales lifecycle. This is a senior-level role designed for a strategic thinker who combines strong market insight with hands-on execution.
The ideal candidate brings expertise in product cycle management, buying and purchasing, business and partnership development, and all aspects of product launch, sales strategy, and value proposition development. This individual will play a key role in scaling revenue, strengthening retail partnerships, and identifying new market opportunities across existing and future product lines.
Key Responsibilities
Lead product lifecycle management , from concept through launch and sell-through
Develop and execute market strategy and positioning
for housewares product lines
Identify and cultivate relationships with key buyers and Divisional Merchandise Managers (DMMs)
at major U.S. retailers
Drive business and partnership development initiatives
to expand distribution channels
Manage all aspects of product launches , including pricing, merchandising strategy, and retail sell-in presentations
Identify and develop new sourcing opportunities
aligned with product and margin goals
Execute purchase orders and oversee procurement strategies
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements
with retailers and vendors
Analyze market trends and competitive activity
to inform sales strategy
Lead sales and merchandising efforts
to maximize retail performance
Identify new market opportunities
for both current and future product lines
