Position Purpose:
Serve as a welcoming host and a reliable resource for members, creating an enjoyable atmosphere for members, guests, and staff. Responsibilities: Greet members and guests warmly with a professional demeanor. Provide accurate information about our gym's services, programs, and membership options. Promptly address member inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism. Manage check-ins for members and guests using the gym's management system. Oversee check-in alerts and notifications to ensure smooth operations. Maintain a clean, organized front desk area stocked with essential supplies. Process payments for memberships, classes, and retail items efficiently. Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all members and staff. Monitor inventory for beverages and bar items, tracking sales performance appropriately. Support facility maintenance through regular checks and restocking essential supplies. Qualifications: Prior experience in customer service or a front desk role is preferred. A background or keen interest in the fitness industry is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Able to multitask in a dynamic environment. Proficient in MS Office and familiar with gym management software. Excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. An individual who aligns with our Core Values. Requirements: CPR certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Mandatory company training attendance within the first 30 days of employment. Comply with all current company policies and standard operating procedures. Ability to navigate within a gym environment, effectively communicating with members, staff, and the public. Capable of bending regularly and lifting more than 40 lbs. Ability to operate company computer systems for document preparation, data entry, and report access.
