Conducting thorough criminal investigations focused on the financial obligations of the United States. Possess a valid driver's license. Capable of carrying and using a firearm with mandatory proficiency maintenance. Applicants must be at least 21 years old
at application and under 40 at referral. Exceptions may apply for individuals with current or prior federal law enforcement service. Obtain and retain a Top Secret Clearance throughout your career. Uncorrected visual acuity must not exceed 20/100 binocular; corrected visual acuity should be 20/20 or better in each eye. Hearing loss must not exceed 25 decibels in either ear in specific frequency ranges. Pass a drug test prior to appointment and adhere to random testing thereafter. Complete 13 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA, followed by 18 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD. Agree to a mobility agreement for assignments both domestically and internationally.
