Your responsibilities will include: Providing protection for various protectees. Conducting critical criminal investigations on financial obligations of the United States. Planning and executing security measures for National Special Security Events. This position requires exceptional individuals who can handle both investigative and protective roles, willing to be assigned to various duty stations across the United States and internationally. Here’s what we’re looking for: U.S. citizenship is a must. A valid driver’s license. Ability to carry and operate a firearm, with mandatory proficiency maintenance. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and under 40 at referral, with possible exceptions for prior federal law enforcement service. Top Secret Clearance is required. Uncorrected visual acuity must be no worse than 20/100 binocular, and corrected acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye. Hearing capabilities must meet specified audio standards. Applicants must pass a drug test prior to the appointment and random tests during their career. Commitment to 13 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, GA, followed by an additional 18 weeks of specialized training in Laurel, MD.
