Senior Real Estate Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Real Estate Specialist to join our team at MMDC, one of Memphis Business Journal’s 2024 & 2025 Best Places to Work. This role works with developers, property owners, and stakeholders to advance mixed-use, mixed-income development that strengthens neighborhoods and creates opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
Support real estate development projects and provide technical assistance to developers and property owners Manage grant and incentive programs, including applications and compliance tracking Develop neighborhood plans and help revitalize vacant storefronts Coordinate planning efforts across real estate, economic development, and community engagement teams Review financial documents, leases, and development proposals Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Urban Planning, Economic Development, or related field 5+ years of experience in real estate, banking, or community development Strong knowledge of real estate financing, incentives, and underwriting Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
