The Role
In this role, you will initially assist in developing multi-touch, multi-dimensional programmes, including events, and over time expand into regional campaign execution. You'll see first-hand how a fast-growing AI company builds a world-class brand and delivers world-class marketing programmes to support our field sales and account management teams.
You will report to the VP of Marketing and work with key sales and marketing stakeholders at our San Francisco and London hubs to design and execute the field marketing strategy flawlessly.
What you'll do
Develop and execute the Field Marketing strategy based on allocated budget and pipeline targets Execute a mix of roundtables, workshops, executive events, industry-targeted events, and third-party events to meet and exceed company targets Exceed registration and attendance targets for virtual and live field events Manage lead flow from field marketing programmes and events into marketing automation systems and to sales team stakeholders to maximise pipeline generation and conversion Ensure on-budget execution of programmes with timely and accurate reconciliation with Finance stakeholders Share best practices and optimise conversion rates across all programmes based on data and feedback Who we're looking for
A highly organised, detail-oriented event marketer who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments Someone who takes full ownership of events end-to-end — from initial brief through to post-event follow-up and pipeline reporting Comfortable working closely with sales and BDR teams, and understands how events connect to pipeline and revenue A strong communicator who can manage multiple vendors, stakeholders, and workstreams simultaneously without dropping the ball Technically curious — willing to learn the product deeply and represent Encord credibly in front of a technical audience Data-driven and results-oriented, with a habit of setting targets, tracking performance, and iterating on programmes based on what works Experience requirements
2–4 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or demand generation at a B2B SaaS or technology company, with direct ownership of event execution end-to-end Proven track record of planning and delivering a diverse mix of event formats — including executive roundtables, hosted workshops, and third-party conference sponsorships — from initial brief through post-event follow-up Experience managing event budgets with full budget authority, including vendor negotiations, reconciliation, and reporting to Finance stakeholders Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with sales, BDRs, and marketing operations to ensure seamless lead flow, timely follow-up, and pipeline conversion from events Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools for lead capture, nurture, and attribution; HubSpot experience is a strong plus Data-driven mindset — comfortable setting registration and attendance targets, tracking performance, and iterating on programmes based on results Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for onsite event execution Bonus: Experience marketing developer tools, data infrastructure, or AI/ML products; familiarity with the enterprise AI buyer landscape Why Encord
