Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Commercial Electricians to join our team for multiple commercial projects lined up for the year. Your primary role will involve installing and repairing commercial electrical systems following electrical code manuals. You will also be responsible for reading technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and using hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment. A high standard of integrity and professionalism is expected, along with a willingness to learn, work overtime when required, and provide reliable transportation. Responsibilities: Install and repair commercial electrical systems according to electrical code manuals. Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment effectively. Ensure punctuality and reliability for all work assignments. Work collaboratively within a team to meet project goals and deadlines. Essential Skills: 2+ years of electrical experience - commercial preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment. Ability to follow electrical code manuals accurately. Competency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Valid driver's license or reliable transportation. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Electrical Certifications. High school diploma or GED. Why Work Here?

This is a fully on-site position located in Ankeny, Iowa, within the DSM Metro. Work hours are typically Monday to Friday, starting at 6:30 am and varying until the job is done, usually lasting 8-9 hours. Punctuality is crucial, and attendance is strictly monitored. The dress code requires jeans without holes, professional t-shirts, and work boots. All necessary PPE will be provided, but candidates must have basic hand tools and a pouch. The work environment is blue-collar, with a focus on quality and timely completion of work. Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, IA. Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
