Starting pay for this role is $19.50 per hour. The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.00 per hour.\nThe Customer Service Representative (CSR) fields calls from customers and works to resolve problems they raise concerning service or billing. A successful CSR must understand the Waste Connections business, so they can resolve various types of customer issues. Customer Service Representatives must show empathy or sensitivity to the customer regarding the issue at hand.\nDuties And Responsibilities:

Politely greets customers in person and over the telephone and communicates concise and accurate information regarding services options, charges, billing, and contracts.\nListens for and identifies opportunities to cross sell additional products and services.\nConfirms understanding of customer needs, issues, and requests.\nEstablishes customer accounts and enters service type, pricing, billing, and other required information into the system.\nUpdates customer data in a timely and accurate manner.\nResponds to customers' complaints and takes necessary actions to resolve their issues including communicating with other department managers, dispatchers, and drivers.\nDirects more complex customer complaint issues to the Office Manager.\nPerforms other administrative and clerical duties as required.\nInforms Operations of any route changes/issues.\nMaintains an organized work area.\nMust be able to work in a fast paced, and at times loud, environment.\nMust be able to multi-task, while helping customers on the phone, and in person.\nRequirements:

Starting pay for this role is $19.50 per hour. The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.00 per hour.\nThe Customer Service Representative (CSR) fields calls from customers and works to resolve problems they raise concerning service or billing. A successful CSR must understand the Waste Connections business, so they can resolve various types of customer issues. Customer Service Representatives must show empathy or sensitivity to the customer regarding the issue at hand.\nDuties And Responsibilities:

Politely greets customers in person and over the telephone and communicates concise and accurate information regarding services options, charges, billing, and contracts.\nListens for and identifies opportunities to cross sell additional products and services.\nConfirms understanding of customer needs, issues, and requests.\nEstablishes customer accounts and enters service type, pricing, billing, and other required information into the system.\nUpdates customer data in a timely and accurate manner.\nResponds to customers' complaints and takes necessary actions to resolve their issues including communicating with other department managers, dispatchers, and drivers.\nDirects more complex customer complaint issues to the Office Manager.\nPerforms other administrative and clerical duties as required.\nInforms Operations of any route changes/issues.\nMaintains an organized work area.\nMust be able to work in a fast paced, and at times loud, environment.\nMust be able to multi-task, while helping customers on the phone, and in person.\nRequirements:

Strong organizational skills to handle a large volume of emails and updates.

Efficient in the use of MS Office, especially email applications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalent.

One year of business billing experience is advantageous.

Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus.

Work Environment\nThe work environment is an office setting with a team of about 14 Customer Service Representatives. Shifts may vary within the operating hours of 7 AM to 6 PM and will be discussed during the interview process. Adherence to a professional dress code is required, and workout wear is not permitted.
