A leading independent warehouse storage solutions company is currently looking to appoint an accomplished Director of Finance to lead its finance function, drive strategic financial planning, and ensure excellence in accounting and compliance.

The Opportunity:

Reporting directly to the COO, the appointed Director of Finance will:

• Lead and oversee all finance and accounting operations across multiple subsidiaries.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, state & federal regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage AR, AP, budgeting, forecasting, tax reporting, internal audits, and financial controls.
• Deliver accurate, timely financial statements and insightful performance analysis.
• Oversee multi-state sales tax compliance and reporting (30+ states) using Avalara.
• Partner with leadership to identify efficiency opportunities and strategic growth paths.
• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing finance team.
• Collaborate with CPA firms, banks, insurance providers, and tax consultants.

The Candidate:

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

• A minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA or MBA preferred).
• 5+ years’ senior-level accounting & finance leadership.
• Expert in GAAP, ERP systems, and advanced financial analysis.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-entity financial operations.
