Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Real Estate Director to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $110,000 to $200,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead portfolio strategy and asset stewardship across a diverse set of properties while aligning plans with organizational values and growth goals.
- Direct acquisitions, divestitures, development, and major facilities initiatives and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and permits.
- Standardize property and facilities management practices including leases, tenant relations, maintenance programs, and capital planning.
- Advance sustainability and design guidelines by promoting energy solutions, brand standards, and improvements to building performance.
- Implement tools and reporting that track occupancy, leases, utilities, and project status and present clear updates to leadership.
Requirements
- A Bachelor degree in real estate, business, urban planning, finance, architecture or a related field with an advanced degree or professional credential preferred.
- 9+ years of experience leading multi-property portfolios with responsibility for strategy execution and results.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of land use rules, entitlements, permitting and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Show proficiency in financial analysis for property decisions including modeling for investments, operations, and capital projects.

- Supervise internal teams and external partners, set priorities and ensure consistent quality across planning, building, and maintenance functions.
- Collaborate effectively with leadership and stakeholders to align real estate decisions with mission-driven objectives and community needs.
- Represent the organization with public agencies, consultants and industry partners while fostering productive relationships.
- Drive process improvements by modernizing systems, workflows and documentation that support transparency and accountability.
- Communicate clearly, manage multiple initiatives and uphold confidentiality, professionalism and respect for sensitive sites.
