Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Real Estate Director to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $90.00 to $115.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead real estate strategy by guiding long range plans for acquisitions, redevelopment, occupancy and property use across all sites.
- Oversee major property decisions including evaluations of land use entitlements, permitting and development activities.
- Manage the full life cycle of transactions such as purchases, sales and leases and ensure alignment with organizational goals and values.
- Modernize asset and facilities practices by standardizing maintenance, capital planning and tenant-related processes across all locations.
- Coordinate priorities with leadership, legal, finance, facilities and external partners and represent the organization in discussions with agencies and consultants.
Requirements
- A Bachelor degree in real estate, business, urban planning, finance, architecture or a related field with a master degree or certification preferred.
- 9+ years of experience managing multi-property portfolios with responsibility for planning and strategy.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of land use regulations, entitlements and permitting requirements.
- Possess experience managing vendors, leases and tenant relationships with skill in financial modeling for property decisions.
- Use Microsoft Office confidently and manage multiple tasks while maintaining clear communication with diverse stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Lead teams across planning, building and maintenance functions and oversee consultants and project managers.
- Evaluate portfolio performance, identify opportunities for improvement and coordinate long term property plans.
- Strengthen compliance by working with legal teams to address contracts, approvals, zoning and environmental matters.
- Implement tools for tracking occupancy lease data, utilities and site performance and improve documentation workflows.
- Work effectively in a spiritually focused environment with respect for sacred locations and collaboration with monastics, staff and local communities.
