This is a critical leadership position, responsible for establishing and owning implementation of a connected strategy across the pediatrics / maternal / public team, aligned with U.S. Vaccines and Pfizer Primary Care goals and performance objectives. The Senior Director will lead key strategic initiatives and facilitate performance management, and execution for Pfizer’s U.S. Pediatric, Maternal & Public Vaccines portfolio, including key assets such as Prevnar 20 Pediatric, ABRYSVO Maternal, Penbraya and Trumenba. The role is critical in shaping portfolio strategy, driving commercial readiness, and ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams to deliver on Pfizer’s mission of preventing disease and improving public health outcomes.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities
Portfolio Strategy & Governance
Define and execute the U.S. pediatric/maternal vaccines portfolio strategy, aligned with globalobjectivesand U.S. market dynamics.
Lead scenario planning and strategic roadmap development for ACIP recommendations and competitive market shifts.
Optimizeresource allocation across brands to maximize portfolio impact.
Performance Management
Establish KPIs and dashboards tomonitorportfolio health andidentifygrowth opportunities.
Partner with finance and analytics teams foraccurateforecasting and performance tracking.
Oversee aligned performance goals across channel, customer-facing and enabling teams, refreshed according to the semesterly performance review cycle
Establish KPIs and management for portfolio-based initiatives (e.g. adherence tactics)
Establish response plans and mitigation strategies as relevant and operationalize through applicable cross-functional teams
Cross-Functional Leadership
Collaborate with marketing, medical, regulatory, access, and account management teams to ensure seamless execution of portfolio initiatives.
Market Readiness & Launch Excellence
Ensure commercial readiness for new indications and platform changes.
Develop strategies to address healthcare disparities and promote equity in pediatric and maternal immunization.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong relationships with healthcare providers, payers, and organized customers to drive vaccination uptake.
Represent Pfizer at key industry forums and advisory committees.
Lead scenario planning and impact assessment
Conduct periodic and ad-hoc scenario analyses to assess the impact of external and internal dynamics, including but not limited to supply chain, consumer, competitor and regulatory actions on vaccination strategies, market uptake, inventory dynamics and market share
Represent with precision the financial and operational implications for leadership evaluation and to inform forecasting and investment decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 12 or more years of experience, 10 years with MBA, 7 years with PhD/equivalent
Preference for vaccines experience and buy & bill business models, although not required
Strong familiarity with the US marketing landscape including HCP, pharmacy, medical group/integrated delivery network and payer engagement strategies
Demonstrated matrix leadership and ability to foster a culture of collaboration and successful delivery across a variety of cross-functional partners
Be an active contributor to create and operate in an environment that continuously embraces and encourages the implementation of bold, innovative ideas
Excellent communication and organizational skills, demonstrated through impact in prior roles
Acts as a role model for Pfizer values

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Occasional travel may be required (e.g., for conferences and off-site meetings)
In-person attendance is expected for high-impact strategic meetings, workshops, or planning sessions; particularly those led or facilitated by the Senior Director
Ability to analyze and synthesize complex information to drive strategic decision-making

Limited travel may include attendance at NY /Collegeville HQ and CFC meetings, Congresses, etc.
