Overview
We are conducting a search for a Director, FP&A , to support a complex, multi-site operating organization. This role provides senior-level financial planning and analysis leadership and partners closely with business and finance leaders to support financial performance, forecasting accuracy, and strategic decision‑making.
The Director, FP&A plays a key role in overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, developing insights that inform leadership decisions and align financial outcomes with organizational objectives.
The successful candidate will bring strong analytical rigor, executive communication skills, and a collaborative leadership style, supporting short-, mid-, and long‑term planning processes while enabling disciplined decision‑making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise and business-level financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Develop financial models, reporting, and analytical tools to enhance visibility into business performance
- Provide objective financial analysis and advisory support to leadership, balancing risk and opportunity
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive cost optimization, operational efficiency, and financial strategy
- Prepare routine and ad hoc reporting packages and presentations for senior leadership and board-level discussions
- Serve as FP&A liaison to business leaders, supporting department-specific financial analysis and reporting needs
- Shape and improve FP&A processes, tools, and best practices
- Collaborate closely with Corporate FP&A and finance leadership on key initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; CPA or MBA preferred
- 10+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles
- Strong working knowledge of accounting and finance operations
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial planning systems preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proven ability to build strong partnerships across all levels of an organization
- High attention to detail with a structured, analytical approach
