The Position

  • Responsible for the oversight of day-to-day operations within the 16-bed department.
  • Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), focus on ongoing initiatives including policies and procedures, staff stabilization, bed availability, patient care, and quality measures.
  • Seeking a dynamic leader with a proven track record in ICU leadership and experience in optimizing departmental KPIs; must effectively mentor staff while encouraging collaboration and driving stability throughout the department.
  • $1,500 sign-on bonus for this role*
  • Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

  • BSN is required; master’s degree is preferred.
  • Active D.C. RN license and/or willingness to apply immediately is required.
  • BLS and ALS certifications are required.
  • Minimum of seven years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Minimum of three years of nursing management experience.

Compensation Details

  • Compensation Range: $165,000 to $175,000 annually.
  • Final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
  • The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
