AR Collections Specialist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a fun construction company near the Phoenix/Tempe border. This organization is in search of an AR Collections Specialist to join their team. This job requires you to be fully onsite, Monday-Friday. This role is paying between $25/hr-$27/hr DOE. This role is responsible for managing outstanding accounts, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring timely payment of invoices. The ideal candidate is comfortable making outbound collection calls and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain assigned accounts receivable portfolio Conduct high-volume outbound collection calls to customers regarding past due balances Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely payment Build and maintain professional relationships with clients while resolving payment discrepancies Research and resolve billing issues, short payments, and disputes Apply payments, reconcile accounts, and update account status accurately Collaborate with internal teams including project managers and accounting to resolve account issues Maintain detailed and accurate records of all collection activity Monitor aging reports and prioritize collection efforts accordingly Qualifications:
2+ years of accounts receivable and/or collections experience, preferably within construction or a related industry Comfortable making outbound collection calls on a daily basis Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour Search managed by: Cassandra Nienow Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
