ASSIGNMENT FUNCTION : Contract Division Order Analyst

ASSIGNMENT SUMMARY : Responsible for setting up ownership decks. Coordinates with Landmen and brokers to perform curative work and determine pay status of owners. Familiar with property rights and ownership transfer processes. Communicate with royalty owners via owner relations line to help solve issues regarding mineral interest.

ASSIGNMENT DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES :

Reviews title documents and calculate ownership for working interest and net revenue interest to set up pay decks for properties located in East Texas.

Analyze conveyance documents, estate proceedings, and assignments to process ownership changes.

Familiar with property rights and ownership transfer processes.

Handle royalty and working interest inquiries regarding division of interest.

Communicate closely with Land and Accounting departments to ensure proper and timely payments of royalties.

Assist with the annual Escheat process and ensure that suspended accounts are worked in a timely fashion.

Assist with pay code changes.

Assist with acquisitions and divestitures.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :

Candidate should have 1-6 years of land administration experience

Strong analytical skills required to perform a series of analytical and revenue/royalty-related activities from initial well production through the life of the well.

Demonstrated ability to review all legal title documents and be able to recognize, interpret, and understand the effects of their integrity and validity.

Must be proficient in MS Office applications with strong skill set in learning systems specific to this company. BOLO experience preferred.

Demonstrated excellent people skills and effective written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in formulating opinions and courses of action with minimum supervision.

Demonstrated high level of flexibility and adaptability in meeting goals and multi-tasking effectively in meeting deadlines.

Must be self-motivated and exhibit strong individual skills, as well as effective team skills in a busy work environment.
