Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales & Marketing Manager based in Dallas/ Houston-Texas. The Sales & Marketing Manager will lead strategic marketing initiatives, develop effective sales strategies, and cultivate strong relationships with key clients. Responsibilities include conducting market research, identifying business opportunities, managing marketing campaigns, and overseeing product promotion to drive revenue growth. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing sales forecasts, and maintaining a deep understanding of industry trends and customer needs.
Key Roles/Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive growth in the specialized market segment.
Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitor analysis to inform sales and marketing strategies.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understand their requirements, and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.
New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the specialized market segment, including prospecting, lead generation, and conversion.
Product Positioning and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling product positioning and messaging and execute promotional campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and provide regular reports to management on sales forecasts, market trends, and competitive analysis.
Sales Training and Support: Provide training and support to team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and market insights to enhance their effectiveness in the specialized market segment.
Develop and regularly update -Distribution, Spirits, packaging, or glass bottle manufacturing-Overview and Analysis
Recommend Alternate Products Based on Cost, Availability or Specifications.
Provide Monthly Reports Consisting of Account Sales Summaries, Aged Inventory, Sales Projections, Account Receivables and other Pertinent Sales Information.
Develop Annual Sales Budgeting for Assigned Customers and New Potential Accounts
Technically oriented or keen to learn about the technical aspect of glass manufacturing and decoration
Provide customer-driven insights to support new product development, sustainability initiatives, and design trends
Make Presentations to customers. Willing to make cold calls
Takes a personal interest in the business of their assigned customer
Travel to customers, company corporate and manufacturing location.
Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings
Qualifications and Skills
Strong account management and negotiation skills
Knowledge of glass packaging manufacturing processes
