Description A growing commercial insurance brokerage is seeking a Commercial Insurance Sales Representative to build pipeline and close new business across property, liability, and specialty commercial policies. This role involves a consultative sales approach with longer sales cycles, annual renewals, and highly informed buyers. Success requires persistence, strong follow-up, and the ability to build trust in a competitive, relationship-driven market.

What You’ll Do

Prospect and engage business owners and operators within targeted industries

Qualify leads based on renewal timing, coverage needs, and existing broker relationships

Manage a long-cycle sales pipeline with consistent follow-up and scheduled call-backs

Present tailored insurance solutions based on client risk profiles and business needs

Coordinate submissions and ensure smooth handoff to back-office and account management teams

Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity within CRM systems

Requirements

1+ year of sales experience required

Comfortable with outbound calling and managing follow-up-heavy pipelines

Strong communication and consultative selling skills

Ability to quickly learn complex insurance products and handle objections effectively

Insurance experience or licensing is a plus (not required to start)
