Overview CoStar Group (NASDAQ: CSGP) is a leading global provider of commercial and residential real estate information, analytics, and online marketplaces. The Associate Photographer works for Homes.com and Apartments.com, creating virtual tours, floorplans, and photography for residential homes and apartments. Each photographer is given a core territory and scheduled appointments to use Matterport Pro 3 cameras and other equipment to capture high‑quality imagery and data.
Responsibilities
Support marketing efforts on Homes.com and Apartments.com by capturing 3‑D virtual tours and footprints.
Create a portfolio of photographs to best feature homes and apartments, utilizing photography techniques to capture the spaces in the most pleasing way possible.
Work closely with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
Professionally communicate with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management to evaluate priorities, initiatives, and tasks.
While not working on a residential home, navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real estate data coverage, identify new inventory, missing availability, and commercial properties to be photographed.
Abide by CoStar safety standards to safeguard company vehicle and equipment.
Represent CoStar in a professional manner at all times.
Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.
Physical Requirements Repetitive & frequent sitting in a car, standing, and walking for up to 8 hours a day. Must lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds. Repetitive hand and arm movements while typing on a tablet or laptop and operating camera equipment. Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying. Ability to work and drive outdoors during all seasons and on a rotating weekend schedule.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of professional photography experience, with real estate photography specifically required.
Experience working as a professional photographer or a recent degree in photography.
Drone photography experience with an FAA Part 107 License/Certification obtained within 30 days of offer.
Strong time‑management skills and detailed oriented.
Capability to accurately capture and enter data.
Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.
Knowledge of Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications.
Enjoys working independently in a fast‑paced environment. Field experience preferred.
Current and valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record required.
Compensation Hourly wage equivalent to $49k‑$50k annually, plus monthly performance‑based bonuses. The role is hourly plus bonus‑eligible, focused on metrics and performance incentives.
