VIP Representative
VIP Representatives welcome VIP guests and offer a variety of services which include registration and assignments of guest rooms, posting of guest room charges and collection of payments on guest room accounts, assistance in handling reservations, mail, messages, and information. How You Will Create the Extraordinary
Be completely knowledgeable about all Horseshoe programs, promotions, activities, and functions. Processes reservations and advance registration payments. Answers patrons' complaints and resolves problems. Must carry out safety and emergency procedures including, but not limited to, fire, crowd control, inclement weather. Works with casino staff and reservations to assure maximum hotel occupancies by casino customers. Must operate and control computer terminal. Must communicate with guests and be able to direct/escort them to various facilities and functions within the property. Promotes outstanding guest relations. Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to VIP guests in a courteous and efficient manner. Issues room key and escort instructions to Bell Person. Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of VIP guests Escorts VIP guests to various facilities and functions in the hotel. Keeps records of room availability and VIP guests' accounts. Computes bill, collects payment, and makes change for VIP guests. Posts charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone, to VIP guest folio. Makes restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservation, and arranges for tours. Blocks all VIP suites for day of arrival. What You Will Need
Must have a high school diploma or GED. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Ability to perform basic arithmetic including the use of percentages. Must interact with guests and other team members in a courteous, empathetic, and discreet manner. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Must be able to assist employees on the front desk during peak traffic periods. Able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust. Able to work at a fast pace in mentally and physically stressful situations. Must maintain professional composure in all situations (e.g., demanding, or threatening customer and during periods of high business volume).
