A leading national law firm is seeking a seasoned Real Estate Associate (6–10 years PQE) to join its growing and dynamic team in Washington, DC. This group advises high-profile clients including developers, institutional investors, and private equity on the acquisition, development, financing, leasing, and sale of commercial real estate assets.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain significant deal responsibility in a collaborative, top-performing real estate team.

About The Team

Work closely with partners and clients across a diverse range of projects—from large-scale urban developments and joint ventures to commercial leasing and acquisitions. This team offers strong mentorship, excellent training, and a culture focused on high performance and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support commercial real estate transactions from inception to closing
  • Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, joint venture documents, loan agreements, and leases
  • Advise clients on all aspects of property development, financing structures, and dispositions
  • Work directly with developers, investors, managers, and lenders
  • Collaborate across practice groups including tax, environmental, and litigation as needed

Who You Are

  • 6–10 years’ experience handling complex real estate transactions at a respected firm
  • Strong experience with acquisitions, financing, leasing, and joint ventures
  • Confident managing transactions with minimal supervision
  • Excellent academic background and strong analytical skills
  • Admitted and in good standing with the DC Bar
