Sales and Customer Engagement Associate , you will provide outstanding service by actively connecting with customers to comprehend their needs and offer personalized support. You will develop a thorough understanding of our products and use our tools to effectively guide customers, facilitating successful project sales. Your role entails mastering how to greet, evaluate, recommend, and successfully close sales with every customer in your department. You will also gain foundational knowledge about related departments to enhance your ability to assist customers effectively. Maintaining a clean and safe environment in your assigned areas is essential. Your responsibilities will include ensuring cleanliness and shopability while complying with all safety policies and standards. You will participate in required safety training and take prompt action to address any hazards or unsafe conditions, or report them to the Manager on Duty. Collaboration is vital in this role; you will work closely with your Department Supervisor, fellow associates, and teams from other departments. Potential departmental focuses may include Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental.
