Job Title: Superintendent of Construction

Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Project Superintendent to oversee a construction project involving the demolition of an old building and the development of a new shell for a fast‑casual restaurant. The project is based in Gaithersburg, MD, and is scheduled to start in early April.

Responsibilities

Oversee all day‑to‑day operations on site.

Ensure site safety by conducting toolbox talks.

Provide daily progress reports and conduct progress meetings with the project management team and client.

Order all necessary site materials.

Oversee and evaluate subcontractor performance.

Essential Skills

Experience in construction, specifically commercial construction.

Proficiency in general contracting and ground‑up projects.

Superintendent experience with OSHA 30 certification.

Ability to manage tenant improvements and project scheduling.

Proficient in managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

Experience with Procore and subcontractor management.

Strong skills in schedule management and site safety oversight.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in construction supervision and safety.

Experience in site construction and retail projects.

Work Environment Work in small project teams with direct support from the president. The role involves both office and on‑site work in the MOCO, Howard, and DC markets. The company offers significant growth potential and focuses on local projects.

Job Type & Location Contract position based in Gaithersburg, MD. Fully onsite. Application deadline: anticipated to close on Mar 28, 2026.

Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
