Description The SEO Strategist is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility and drive measurable results for clients in the legal industry. This role requires expertise in keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and link building, while collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure client success.

Performance Will Be Measured By

Client retention and revenue growth

Organic traffic growth and keyword ranking improvements

Client visibility within AI and LLM platforms

Quality and consistency of SEO deliverables

Collaboration with cross‑functional teams

Demonstrates leadership aligned with ATB values

Key Responsibilities

Keyword Research and On-Page Optimization:

Conduct in‑depth keyword research to identify high‑value opportunities.

Optimize website content (titles, meta descriptions, headers, images) for search visibility.

This applies to new client projects – initial fulfillment as well as post‑fulfillment client work.

Technical SEO:

Analyze and improve site performance (speed, mobile readiness, crawlability).

Ensure technical elements (XML sitemaps, schema markup, indexing) are implemented effectively.

Link Building and Off‑Page SEO:

Develop and execute link‑building campaigns.

Acquire high‑quality backlinks from reputable and relevant sources.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

Track and analyze SEO KPIs to measure campaign effectiveness.

Provide clients with clear reporting and actionable insights with emphasis on lead volume and quality.

Client Communication and Collaboration:

Participate in client calls to present SEO data and insights.

Lead client discussions regarding lead volume, quality and other factors.

Work with content, strategy and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

3+ years of SEO experience in an agency or similar setting

Strong understanding of SEO principles and Google algorithms

Proficiency in SEO tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs)

Analytical mindset with problem–solving skills

Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Proficiency in tools like SEMrush, GA, GSC

Knowledge of technical, on‑page and off‑page SEO

Strong communication and analytical skillsExperience using project tools like Monday.com and CRM platforms such as HubSpot preferred
