Overview
The Olympic Club is a 45-hole facility. Lake, Ocean, and our 9-hole par‑3 Cliffs course play 95,000 rounds per year. The Lake course has hosted 5 U.S. Opens, 1 U.S. Women’s Open, several U.S. Amateurs and will host the 2028 PGA Championship and 2033 Ryder Cup. The club recently completed the 2025 U.S. Amateur Championship.
The Assistant Professional will assist in several key duties such as tee sheet management, merchandising, first tee ambassador, and player assistant. The assistant will also play golf with the membership at least one day a week.
The successful candidate will have a warm and welcoming personality, attention to detail, ability to multi‑task in a high‑volume environment and focus on being team‑oriented.
The hourly compensation is based on entry‑level associate to PGA member. The total compensation is based on golf instruction and the highest hourly rate.
Experience Required The club requests that the candidate have at least three years in the golf business as a golf professional but will accept all candidates passionate about becoming a member of the PGA.
