Overview PGA Associate Assistant Golf Professional

Established in 1902, Anderson Country Club (ACC) is one of Indiana's most historic private clubs. Situated on a storied parkland setting that once served as a Civil War training site, our club features a premier 18-hole championship course designed by the legendary Bill Diddel.

We are seeking a motivated PGA Associate Assistant Golf Professional who is eager to grow their career in a traditional private club setting that values both professional mentorship and a modern approach to work-life balance.

The Opportunity

Compensation:

$14.00 - $18.00 per hour based on experience (plus potential for lesson income).

Mentorship:

You will work closely with the Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf, gaining hands-on experience in every facet of high-end club operation.

Work-Life Balance:

Key Responsibilities

Executive Mentorship:

Shadow our leadership team to learn the "business of golf," including budgeting, merchandising, and member relations.

Tournament Operations:

Lead the setup and execution of our active member tournament calendar using Golf Genius software.

Instruction:

Build your teaching portfolio by providing golf lessons and clinics to our family-oriented membership, from juniors to seasoned players.

Member Services:

Provide "white glove" service from the bag drop to the 18th green, ensuring the high standards of a private club are met daily.

Golf Shop Management:

Assist with high-end retail operations, special orders, and inventory control.

What We're Looking For

PGA Status:

Current PGA Associate in good standing or an individual actively pursuing entry into the PGM program.

Tech Savvy:

Proficiency in Golf Genius (or a strong aptitude for mastering tournament software), Microsoft Word, & Excel.

Passion for Teaching:

A genuine desire to improve our members' games through professional golf lessons.

Professionalism:

A polished appearance and excellent communication skills suitable for a premier private club environment.

Ambition:

Someone ready to leverage the history and resources of ACC to become a future Head Professional.
