
Marketing Communications Intern

This paidmarketinginternship offers hands‑on experience supporting realcampaigndevelopment and behind‑the‑scenes learning of what it takes to be on a professional marketing team.The intern willassistwith social media, copywriting, research, and campaign preparation while gaining exposure to how marketing strategy, creativeand execution come together.Thisposition willbenefitfrom being a part of a passionate organization and learning non‑profit marketing tactics from leadership.At the close of this internship, the intern will have builtreal portfolio pieces, gained experience in content planning, and learned how campaigns move from idea to execution.
Key Responsibilities
Assistwith social media content preparation andorganization
Draft social captions and short‑form marketing copy;(IG, TikTok,LinkedIn, etc.)
Conduct light research on competitors, trends, and campaign ideas
Help organize marketing assets and campaign materials
Update marketing trackers, lists, or planning documents
Pull basic analytics or performance reportson a weekly basis in above mentioned spaces
Support marketing campaigns and projects as needed(fundraising, awareness, events)
Intern will report to Branding & Marketing Lead on a weekly basis via videochat;with regular check ins via email and related platforms.
Ideal Candidate
Student or recent graduate in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
Strong writing and communication skills
Familiar with major social media platforms
Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
Curious and eager to learn how marketing campaigns are built; both creative and strategic
Capable of basic design and development in platforms like Canva, CapCut, Google Drive
Comfortable working independently with check‑ins
Willing to take initiative and propose creative ideas
Responsive communication within reasonable working hours
Details
Part‑time: approximately 10–15 hours per week
Compensation: $20-$25an hourbased on experience
Initial term: Approximately6-12months,with potential to extend
Opportunity to work on real campaigns and marketing initiatives
Remote position; preference of candidatesin theJacksonville areaforoptionalin‑person learningbut notrequiredfor the role.
