Sr Digital Project Manager (Marketing) - Contract - Hybrid (Pleasanton, CA)
Key
Responsibilities : Partner with the Digital Marketing Managers, Project Managers, and functional leads to define, document, and communicate project scope with all key stakeholders. Build project plans and schedules to support the successful execution of digital projects including product launches, website refreshes, and global initiatives. Ensure all deliverables align with project scope and goals. Organize, facilitate, and drive status meetings. Determine meeting agendas, highlight key milestones, drive issue resolution, and keep track of follow up items. Summarize and communicate meeting outcomes to all stakeholders. Track milestones, manage task/project dependencies and proactively communicate issues. Conduct offline meetings with cross-functional teams (marketing, creative, digital, web production, QA, localization, etc.) to ensure priorities are known, issues are resolved, and efforts are coordinated. Maintain communication with all project stakeholders to ensure inter-departmental alignment, optimization of resources, smooth handoffs, and project consistency. Liaise with our creative resource manager and functional leads to resource projects through our project management tool, Workfront. Manage and monitor progress, handoffs, and deliverable status by leveraging our tool. Ensure overall project/program quality and look for ways to streamline process and increase overall efficiency. Audit projects once completed, conduct post-mortem meetings, determine improvements, and implement process changes in collaboration with the
PMO
team. Demonstrate leadership skills and experience working on large, complex cross-functional projects with several stakeholder groups. Expert in conflict resolution and negotiation; identifying issues and risks to remove roadblocks and keep projects on track. Manage partnerships with third-party vendors on individual projects, when applicable. Be an effective team member and build positive, collaborative relationships across teams and departments. Help continually refine the current global project management framework, including tools and processes in partnership with the PMO team. Skills :
7+ years in business-to-business (B2B) marketing with proven project management experience. A bachelor's degree is required. Strong
understanding
of
digital ,
web,
and
email
development
project
management
and technologies. Proven experience leading digital projects and programs, working with cross-functional teams, and managing virtual/global teams. Experience with Content Management Systems (AEM preferred). Understanding of SaaS and/or enterprise software digital marketing a plus. Proficient in project management tools (e.g.,
Workfront ,
Google
Docs,
Smartsheet ,
MS
Project , etc.) Excellent client-facing skills including self-presentation and clarity of verbal and written communication. Proactively seeks opportunities to increase knowledge, skills and abilities as well as problem solve and improve processes. PMP certification is a plus. Agency experience is a plus.
