This individual provides daily direction and supervision to the General Foremen on the project. The project involves five federal buildings in Washington DC, with construction durations ranging from one to four years depending on the building. The main objective is to decouple these buildings from steam and install new natural gas-fired boiler plants. Able to work night and weekend shifts due to the buildings being occupied, with a rotation system for second shifts and the expectation of flexibility for extended periods, potentially up to two to three months. Second shift runs from 7:00 PM to 2:00 or 3:00 AM.

Job Description

This individual provides daily direction and supervision to the General Foremen on the project. The project involves five federal buildings in Washington DC, with construction durations ranging from one to four years depending on the building. The main objective is to decouple these buildings from steam and install new natural gas-fired boiler plants. Able to work night and weekend shifts due to the buildings being occupied, with a rotation system for second shifts and the expectation of flexibility for extended periods, potentially up to two to three months. Qualifications

10 years of MEP superintendent experience, with a High school education as a minimum Required to have a minimum of 10 years experience with construction in the power industry. Required to have 5 years' experience directing craft labor on construction projects in the power industry. Engineering or trade school backgrounds and mechanical certifications are considered advantageous. Possess basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and be able to write clear reports in English.

Technical Certification Bonus:

Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
