Portfolio Analyst

Location: Milwaukee, WI/ Boston, MA (4 days a week) Duration: 9 Months Responsibilities: Prepare and review daily, weekly and monthly separate account reconciliations between internal accounting system and both trading system and custodians Thoroughly research discrepancies and resolve in a timely manner Identify and implement process improvements Effectively lead escalation efforts with custodians and other parties to resolve discrepancies timely and help address the root cause of ongoing issues. Support the deployment of new products and services as part of project teams Identify opportunities to reduce risk and/or increase efficiencies across core portfolio accounting functions including team reconciliations, daily cash support and complex derivatives activities. Candidate Candidate should have experience in investment management operations or related financial services; strong attention to detail; proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team; and effective communication skills. Required Qualifications 3 plus years of investment operations experience Experience working with bank loans and derivatives Strong attention to detail and accuracy Demonstrated time management, analytical and organizational skills. Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management. Proven ability to manage risk, mitigate risk and make sound decisions. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Enjoys working in a changing environment but able to focus on the task at hand Experience in other mid- and back-office roles including trade support, performance, portfolio operations, and client administration Experience with Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX), Bloomberg, CRD, Wall Street Office (WSO) and SS&C Recon. Advanced experience with MS Excel and general facility with technology tools such as MS Access and Power BI
