Content & Social Media Lead
to shape how a globally respected intellectual property law firm shows up across digital platforms, combining
strong editorial judgment, creative execution, and data-driven thinking. Role Context
This firm represents some of the most recognized brands in the world and operates at the intersection of law, business, and culture. This role sits at the
center of content strategy, social media, and digital storytelling , working closely with attorneys and leadership to translate complex legal work into clear, compelling content that builds credibility and visibility. Because of that, this role requires someone who can balance
creativity with judgment , someone who can bring fresh, engaging ideas to the table while maintaining a high level of professionalism, polish, and attention to detail. What This Role Actually Looks Like
This is a hybrid role—part strategist, part creator, part operator. It’s a hybrid role that blends: Social media strategy and platform ownership Editorial storytelling and thought leadership Website and digital content management Performance tracking and optimization Collaboration with attorneys and leadership Think of this as owning the firm’s content engine—from idea to execution to performance. Some of the Things You’ll Be Doing
Owning and evolving the firm’s presence across LinkedIn and other platforms Building content strategies that support thought leadership, events, and attorney visibility Monitoring performance and continuously optimizing based on data Creating and Managing Content
Writing and editing content across formats—articles, posts, client alerts, and marketing materials Interviewing attorneys and translating complex legal topics into accessible, engaging content Managing content calendars and publishing workflows Design, Video & Multimedia
Creating visual assets using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite Producing and editing short-form video content (CapCut or similar tools) Digital & Website Management
Updating and maintaining website content via CMS platforms (WordPress, Sitecore, Drupal) Supporting newsletters and digital communications Ensuring consistency in tone, messaging, and brand presence Who Thrives in This Role

5+ years of experience in content, social media, or communications Experience in professional services, B2B, or content-driven environments (law firm experience is a plus, not required) Strong writing and editing skills with attention to tone and clarity Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Sitecore, Drupal) Experience with design and video tools (Canva, Adobe, CapCut, etc.) A portfolio that shows your work across written, visual, and social content REQUIRED A Quick Reality Check
This role is not ideal for someone who prefers: Purely strategic roles without hands-on execution Delegating content creation rather than owning it Highly repetitive or templated work without creative problem-solving Environments where content is “set and forget” instead of continuously evolving Very strict 9-5 and structured environments- this is more fast-paced, dynamic, start-up kind of vibes!
