Job Summary The Field District Manager plays a critical role in supporting DOWC’s most valued clients by delivering on-site and virtual training, reinforcing product knowledge, and ensuring operational excellence at the dealership level. This position focuses on execution and sales strategy, ensuring key account objectives are met through relationship building, training, and consistent field engagement. This requires frequent travel to key account locations and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experience.
We are seeking a field team of several district managers across the United States to support one of our Key Accounts F&I development on the field level. We are now currently seeking District Manager candidates in the Austin, TX area.
Duties/Responsibilities
Serve as a primary field-level contact for designated key account locations, ensuring strong operational support and consistent communication.
Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions focused on product portfolio, menu presentation, advanced closing techniques, system navigation, sales process, and compliance standards.
Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to F&I staff to reinforce learning, build confidence, and ensure a deep understanding of sales and compliance practices.
Assess the trainings needs of designated dealerships to identify performance gaps, and recommend the scope, method and content of suitable training.
Provide hands‑on assistance to resolve operational challenges at the dealership level.
Collaborate with sales and service teams to align product penetrations goals with customer satisfaction outcomes.
Monitor and report on dealer performance metrics using CRM and Power BI dashboards to Field Leadership and dealership management to identify and address areas for improvement.
Stay up to date on industry trends, sales practices, best practices, and compliance regulations, continuously enhancing training and operational support to meet current demands.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with dealership personnel, fostering trust and reliability.
Remain accessible for on‑call dealership support and provide solutions on an ongoing basis.
Support the Director of Field Operations in implementing initiatives to improve overall F&I performance.
Performs other duties as assigned at the discretion of management.
Required Skills/Abilities
Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field preferred but not required.
Minimum 5+ years of hands‑on automotive F&I team management experience.
Proven experience delivering successful F&I training and developing high‑performing sales teams at the dealership level.
Experience in F&I, automotive retail, dealership operations or dealership support is required.
Must have proven leadership experience coaching a large team.
Superior relationship building and communication skills.
Ability to deliver effective and impactful training presentations.
Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Proficiency in CRM and automotive related software.
Ability to thrive in a multi‑faced, fast‑paced sales environment.
Strong problem‑solving capabilities and ability to implement improvement techniques.
Excellent leadership capabilities and ability to manage a high‑performing team through tracking KPI metrics.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to travel up to 90% across multiple locations.
